Doing it.... Texas style!

Hi Friends!

Hope everyone is doing great and have had a great 4th of July! We spent ours in an airport, haha!! We went to Ft. Hood, Texas to visit Clayton's sister, our brother in law, and our nieces. We flew out Thursday morning at 6:00 AM!! Yes, in the morning! I don't remember being that tired in a long, long time! However, the trip was so much fun! We spent the majority of our time just hanging out at the Kraus's house and playing with our nieces, who have both gotten so big. Cecilia, who will be 8 in a few weeks, has matured so much since we have seen her last. Caroline, who turned 2 in May, is like a whole different child!!! She now is talking up a storm and copying everything that Cecilia does. Uncle "Pay" and Aunt "Weis" had so much fun playing and dancing with her all weekend! I also accomplished a first while I was in Texas..... Went to my first Rodeo!!!!! It was so much fun and hilarious. I will say that I got upset multiple times because I was afraid of animal abuse, but Clayton assured me that the animals enjoy what they are doing.... I am just going to believe him so I can sleep at night =) My sweet Caroline did agree with me throughout the rodeo and would exclaim repeatedly when a calf would be tackled to the floor, "NO, NO, NO BE NICE!" I can't wait to see the Kraus's again soon.... Hopefully, it will be before February when Baby #3 is due.. Yes, we are going to have another niece or nephew!! We are all so very excited and I can't wait to spoil this new little munchkin soon!

Onto other news.... I know everyone is curious how the baby front is with Clayton and I. So here is my update!
I began taking the 100 mg of Clomid a couple of weeks ago and finished it last week. It was, by far, the worst side effects I have experienced, which was to be expected since I doubled the dose. Hot flashes, among other symptoms, were terrible causing me to leave work on a frequent basis with soaking wet clothes. I felt a lot different taking the Clomid this cycle as compared to last cycle. I felt like last time, I felt some side effects but I never felt any different where I should (i.e. cramps, etc.) This time, I feel very different and feel like things are definitely moving and grooving.... I guess we will see in a week or so. So now, we are in the two week "wait." Right now, I am just hoping that the Clomid will help me ovulate and that we have timed the baby dancing right with ovulation! I will go back to the Dr. next Monday, the 12th to get blood work run. Until then!!
